Asia/Oceania’s Finest: Teams Qualify for ITF WJTC Girls’ Finals. Kuching, Malaysia.

The Tokyo Organising Committee has confirmed the Olympic Tennis event schedule after the 2020 Games were postponed to 2021.

Tokyo 2020 and the International Olympic Committee agreed in April that each session of the 2021 would in principle be schedule as planned for 2020. This has been reflected in the confirmed competition schedule, which for operational reasons remains subject to change.

The Olympic Tennis Event in 2021 will take place in the same competition venue (Ariake) as previously planned for 2020.

The tennis event will start on Saturday 24 July 2021 and is scheduled to finish on what Tokyo 2020 organisers are calling “Golden Sunday” on 1 August 2021.

The men’s singles, women’s doubles and mixed doubles will be three of 25 medal events on “Golden Sunday”, which also includes the final of the men’s 100m and the men’s and women’s gymnastics finals.
