ITF ATF 14&U Regional Training Camp Set to Ignite Young Talent in Kuala Lumpur.

The ITF ATF 14&U Regional Training Camp will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from July 31 to August 4. This highly anticipated event is a collaborative effort between the ITF and the ATF, aimed at providing top-level coaching and development opportunities for promising young tennis players in the region.

Seventeen talented young tennis players from eleven nations across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and East Asia will converge in Kuala Lumpur to participate in this prestigious training camp. The participating nations include India, Thailand, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Chinese Taipei, Korea, Nepal, Maldives, Philippines, and Hong Kong, China.

The boys’ category features a strong lineup of players, including Yashwin Dahiya (India), Ian Liu (Chinese Taipei), Yat Long So (Hong Kong, China), Ethan Jake Frans (Indonesia), David Ayayou (Thailand), Gareth Lim Hao (Malaysia), Hyunu Nam (Korea), and Pattiyage Dingu Damasath (Sri Lanka).

On the girls’ side, Karthika Padmakumar (India), Chiu Kwan Nina Wang (Hong Kong, China), Gwen Emily Kurniawan (Indonesia), Chotrin Kaewka (Thailand), Shivali Gurung (Nepal), Naba Nishan (Maldives), Adani Raihan Azhari (Malaysia), Annanya Joanie Norbet (Sri Lanka), and Maristella Torrecampco (Philippines).

Leading the technical team is ITF Development Officer Jonathan Stubbs, who will bejoined by a distinguished panel of coaches from across the region. The coaching lineup includes fitness coach Mr. Ranil (Sri Lanka), Hafid Dani (Hong Kong, China), Dinusha Wijesuriya (Sri Lanka), Zulkhairi Mohd Khir (Malaysia), Jaeun Lee (Korea), Ranjeet Singh (India), Septi Mende (Indonesia), and Suwit Pinyotanmakorn (Thailand).

This training camp offers a golden opportunity for these young athletes to gain invaluable experience and prepare for the upcoming Asian 14&U Grade A Tournament, scheduled for August 5-10. The camp will provide a platform for the players to hone their skills, learn from top coaches, and compete against the best in the region.
