ITF Academy is progressing at a very rapid pace  in these tough times due to effect of Covid-19 pandemic.

Since the launch of ITF Academy ,  there are numerous courses that have been added along with Q & A on various topics. 33 courses have so far been added in English while 22 courses are available in French and Spanish and 8 in Portugese. A course for the parents of tennis players was recently launched in English/ French and Spanish “Parents of Beginner Players – Introduction to tennis”. Five new courses/ Q& A sections are slated to be launched during the week of 27th April 2020.

The number of registered user has been increasing at a rapid pace and it is heartening to learn Asia has 19.2% of the total world wide registered users on ITF Academy. Iran leads the Asian nations with 612 registrations followed by Philippines. This is very encouraging and goes on to showcase the flexibility of Asians in adopting to changing scenarios. The weekly growth for Asian users is 26% , which is commendable.

ITF Academy ,which is now helping the coaches with continuous education, a series of Live workshops are being organised in different regions around the world. This will provide opportunity to coaches to communicate their questions with the experts as well as get some  benefit from the technical discussions. There are 2 planned sessions for the Asian region on 15th May 2020, which will have Development officers of the Region and Mr Miguel Crespo on board.

  • For South, South East and East Asia region it will be held on 15th May 2020 between 17:00-18:00 Hong Kong time
  • For West and Central Asia region it will be held on 15th May 2020 between 14:00-15:00 UK time.

The coaches can send queries and question to their regional  ITF Development Officers before 13th May 2020. We do hope that coaches will forward in great numbers to take benefit from this workshop.

Not to mention the numerous educational books on tennis, coaching and allied activities being available on the ITF academy for the users to read, enjoy and enhance their knowledge.

We request coaches, parents, players from Asia to come forward in big way and get registered with ITF Academy. We wish that the ITF Academy progress is quick and smooth for the benefit of numerous people attached with the sports we all love-Tennis.
