Jason Jung of Chinese Taipei is blessed with Cheetah-like speed and also known as “the Chisel” due to his ability to file harder-hitting opponents down to size, defeated Reilly Opelka of USA in the quarterfinals 5-7, 6-4, 6-4. Jung will face Andreas Seppi of Italy in the Semifinals of the New York Open. While in the doubles, Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan partnered Dominic Inglot of Great Britain defeated Roman Jebavy of Czech and Frederik Nielsen of Denmark in the Quarterfinals 4-6, 6-1, 10-5. The duo will face USA pair of Nicholas Monroe and Jack Sock in the semifinals.
