Asian Tennis Federation is glad to announce that the Grand Slam Development Fund (GSDF)/ITF International 14&U Touring team will be travelling this year. After a successful launch of the GSDF / International 14&U Touring team initiative in 2018 and 2019 , ITF is pleased to announce the team for 2021 with an aim to provide the best 14&U boys and girls from Asia an opportunity to compete against the top 14&U players in the world at the Eddie Herr and Junior Orange Bowl in Florida, USA.
The top ranked boy and girl based on ATF 14 & under rankings will be selected to be part of GSDF/ITF touring team.
The exact schedule for the Tournaments is as follows:
25 Nov-28 Nov: Training camp (on site)
29 Nov- 5 Dec: Eddie Herr International Championships
6 Dec-14 Dec: Miami based U14 or U16 events and training
15 Dec-21 Dec: Junior Orange Bowl
The team will be comprised of six girls and six boys from six different ITF Regional Associations. ITF will nominate four ITF coaches to work with the players and look after them.
Likewise, ATF will be nominating one boy and one girl from Asia on the basis of the Asian 14&U Junior rankings as on 27th September 2021.
