Four promising young players will represent Asia in the Road to Wimbledon 2026 initiative, an Asian Tennis Federation development project that gives leading under-14 players the chance to experience the unique challenge of grass-court tennis and compete at one of the sport’s most famous venues.
The selected players are Srishti Kiran of India and Ke-Chieh Hsu of Chinese Taipei in the girls’ category, along with Puneeth Manohar of India and Saidaslam Farkhodov of Uzbekistan in the boys’ category.
Road to Wimbledon is part of the ATF’s wider player-development pathway for under-14 athletes. The project offers young players the opportunity to move beyond familiar surfaces and conditions, adapt to grass courts and gain valuable exposure in an international stage. Four players—two girls and two boys—are selected for the programme through the ATF’s development and selection process.
The 2026 programme will begin with three days of grass-court practice from 6–8 July, helping the players understand the movement, bounce and speed of the surface before the competition begins. They will then take part in the 14&U Championships, Wimbledon, from 9–12 July.
For Srishti, Ke-Chieh, Puneeth and Saidaslam, the week will be about much more than the matches. It will give them the opportunity to train on grass, compete against strong international players and experience the atmosphere of Wimbledon at an early stage of their careers.
