Asian Tennis Federation has extended suspension of all ATF tournaments till 31st July 2020, due to the ongoing Covid-19 Pandemic. This announcement is in line with the earlier announcement made by ITF effecting similar suspension of all ITF tournaments.
Main and immediate concern for Asian Tennis Federation is health and safety of players. Covid-19 global pandemic prevents international tournaments at this stage, however some nations are witnessing partial lifting of the restrictions.
The ATF 14 & under rankings will also remain frozen till further notice.
Asian Tennis Federation will continue to liaise with the nations and make sincere efforts to ensure that as many tournaments as possible can be rescheduled for later in the year.
Asian Tennis Federation office remains open for business as usual, with staff currently working from home and the ATF staff would be available on emails for any assistance.
