Udomchoke into second round of China Open

Danai Udomchoke of Thailand defeated Noam Okun of Israel 7-6(4) 3-6 6-4 in the opening round of $500,000 China Open in Beijing, China. Udomchoke will now play seventh seed Mikhail Youzhny of Russia in the second round.

In another match wild card Yu Wang, Jr. of China defeated Luka Gregorc of Slovenia 7-6(5) 6-1 and he will now face Peter Wessels of Netherlands in his second round match.
