Zi Yan clinched Guangzhou Open

Zi Yan of China clinched the singles title of the $170,000 Guangzhou International Women's Open 2005 in Guangzhou, China. She emerged as the winner after sixth seed Nuria Llagostera Vives of Spain retired hurt due to left hamstring strain in between the second set. Yan was leading 64 40.
