Sugiyama and Hantuchova reach semifinals

Fourth seeded pair of Ai Sugiyama of Japan and Daniela Hantuchova of Slovakia have reached the semifinals of the $585,000 Generali Ladies Linz presented by Raiffeissenlandesbank Oberosterreich. They defeated Eva Birnerova of Czech Republic and Andrea Vanc of Romania 60 62 in the quarterfinal match. Their semifinal clash will be against Gisela Dulko of Argentina and Kveta Peschke of Czech Republic.
