Peng Shuai and Sun Tiantian wins Doubles Title at Bangalore Open

Peng Shuai and Sun Tiantian of China won their first Tour doubles title as a team when the pair won Canara Bank Bangalore Open on Sunday.

In the doubles final, third seeded Shuai Peng and Tiantian Sun of China upset top seed Chinese Taipei pair of Yung-Jan Chan and Chia-Jung Chuang 6-4, 5-7, 10-8 to win their first tour Doubles title.

This was Peng's second individual career Tour doubles title, having won one with Yan Zi while it was 12th individual career Tour doubles title for Sun , having won nine with Li Ting and two with Yan Zi

Peng-Sun duo got richer by $30,000 apart from gaining 275 WTA points, while the runners-up received $16,120 and 190 WTA points for finishing second.
