LG Asia Cup 2007

Danai Udomchoke (THA) captured the inaugural Asian Masters title at ($100,000) LG Asia Cup at Bangkok , Thailand from 28 November to 2 December 2007 . He defeated Gouichi Motomura (JPN) 6-2, 6-1.

The top seed Danai, took less than an hour to dispatch the fourth-seeded Motomura, who was plagued by unforced errors and fatigue from the outset.

The yellow group Thai star dropped just one set all tournaments. He jumped on his Red group opponent early amassing a 4-0 lead in the first set and easily breaking Motomura twice. Both players held serve with Danai taking the set when an errant forehand from the Japanese went long.
