Twelth seeded Zi Yan and Jie Zheng of China stormed into the finals of the Womens Doubles at the A$ 19,300,000 Australian Open when they upset ninth seeded pair of Shinobu Asagoe of Japan and Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia in the semifinals 6-2 7-6 (7-2).
