Shokeen ends Sugiyama's campaign

Ashutosh Vivek Shokeen knocked out the second-seeded Norikazu Sugiyama of Japan 1-6, 7-5, 6-1 in the pre-quarterfinals of the BSNL $10,000 ITF Futures tennis tournament in Delhi, India. Vivek will now play against the finalist of the last tournament Frank Moser of Germany who had to endure a three-setter after having been ahead 6-3, 5-2 against Chu-Huan Yi of Chinese Taipei.
Other asians who advances to the quarterfinals are Sanam Singh of India, Jae-Sung An of Korea and Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi of Paksitan.
