Zheng Jie in last eight at Nordic Light Open

Third-seeded Jie Zheng beat Kaia Kanepi of Estonia 6-4, 6-4 Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals of the Nordic Light Open. Zheng will play Wozniacki in the quarterfinals on Friday at Olympic Stadium. In the other quarterfinals, Myskina plays Martina Sucha of Slovakia, Arvidsson faces Birnerova and second-seeded Li Na of China takes on Tsvetana Pironkova of Bulgaria.
