Li Na reached into the third round

The no. 2 seed Li Na(CHN) defeated Yulia Beygelzimer(UKR) 64 60 in the straight sets to reach the third round at the Nordea Nordic Light Open. The Chinese ace is making her first appearance at this Tier IV event. She played her last Sony Ericsson WTA Tour match two months ago at Wimbledon, where she became the first Chinese to reach a Grand Slam quarterfinal. Earlier she defeated Maret Ani, 61 75, on Sunday in the Swedish capital. She is now no.1 asian rank women singles player.
